Growing by commitment - If you know what you want, you will go far – especially if you are energetic. The best way to see if you really were born for a career in retail is a Praktiker internship. An internship will allow you to set special focuses while gaining insight into different divisions of our corporation.

Discover the world of retail - You will be immersed in the world of retail from day one. Our internship program is called “Doing” – which describes the attributes you may prove over the course of the next three to six months: Drive, flexibility, initiative, decisiveness and a sense of responsibility.

Establish ties - Following a successful internship, students will have the opportunity to establish close ties with our corporation via special programs. You can profit from the participation in one of three programs, each geared towards different potentials. These programs cover a regular student get-together, newsletters, invitations to company events, further education, training, networking events and more. You may also broaden your horizons by applying for a second, perhaps an international, internship.

Only the best - We need first-class staff to pursue our successful strategy of offering a well-priced assortment of DIY goods. Good employees – no matter whether they are trainees, sales specialists or executives – will hit it big. The better the employees, the bigger the hit.
